today, we escape ... I can't do this alone

My life has been full of letdowns and put-downs and I respond by proceeding to stand back up and restore my hope and faith, only to get pushed down again. Each time I rise, I grow taller, simply to fall harder. It is a spiteful succession.

You won't let those robots eat me

Yay for quizes

You Are A Cypress Tree

You are strong, adaptable, and striving to be content. You're good at taking what life has to give - even if you don't like it. A passionate lover who can't be satisfied, you are quick tempered at times. You hate loneliness, want love and affection, and need to be needed. A bit of a live wire, you love to gain knowledge any cost... and you can be careless at times.
...pretty close. I'm not very careless. I'm only good at taking what life has to give, even when i don't like it, because i usually toss it over my shoulder. Not cool, cause it just sits there. I love being needed most of the time. ...can't be satisfied? I suppose that's my greatest goal in life ...to be satisfied.
The Part of You That No One Sees
You are balanced, peaceful, and sincere. You're the type of person who goes along to get along. And you're definitely afraid of rocking the boat.
Underneath it all, you fear your world falling apart. You'll put up with a situation that you don't like in fear of changing it. Disruptive and forceful people intimidate you - and sometimes exploit you.
Balanced ...alright. Peaceful... i try. I rock the boat ...sometimes.

Your Mind is NC-17 Rated

You're mind is so filthy... you should should be washing every part of you out with soap.
If your thoughts can go dirty, they do. Almost everything is NC-17 to you!
Me? Dirty? ...no.

come on fallen star, i refuse to let you die, 'cause that's wrong and i've been waiting far too long for you to...

So chick night went well and The Departed was really good. I highly reccomend it. Then I made them watch Anchorman, as none of them had seen it. I last night i watched A Good Year and Marie Antoinette. I forgot about them, that's why they weren't on the list. They were also pretty good, minus that guy in with the big eyebrows being in Marie Antoinette and Russell Crowe having is hair parted down the middle in the other. ugh. Oh, and Jess, thank you, that will be very helpful.
Yay, Chris finished it. JOrb well done!
Now for some random thoughts...
If you got water and UV rays passing through it, you're going to have some oxygen forming and being excited to the ozone. So ozone is being formed, and ozone is a very powerful oxidizing agent. Also, if there's solar radiation reacting with ozone, you're going to get reformation of oxygen. Life wouldn't be possible without the ozone. So... how was the primitive Earth a very reducing environment exactly... The supposed main elements of early earth, methane, ammonia, and hydrogen, ..maybe helium, are reducing. In a reducing environtment oxygen is absent and hydrogen is present. So was it the early prokaryotes that through photosynthesis eventually formed oxygen, or was oxygen only nearly absent, or did the prokaryotes only play a small role in oxygen formation in the beginning. But, before oxygen could build up in the atmosphere did it have to oxidize reduced ions, such as iron, in the water first...

i like where you sleep, when you sleep next to me

So, when i stepped outside twenty to six this morning andrealized how beautiful it was out i forgot that i was upset for having to get up at 5. But, it did pay off in the end. Such that i, second time in a row, was number one in line for spring courses. Yes, that's a big deal. At least for me, as the course i needed to get in to tends to be hardcore to get into. Go History of Calculus! yes! Oh, and Intro. to Physics. Sweet deal. I'm going to have an awesome Spring.
I found that that on the way home it smelt like fried chicken outside, so disappointing. On the other hand, i found some tea i want to buy. Got some friends coming over and it looks like i'll be able to cross off The Departed from my movie list by the end of tonight. woo.

No love, no glory ...no hero in her sky

Today on the way home from class the snow sculpture of howling wolves on Broadway came into my view. That’s when I thought how much joy I’d get out of slicing their necks with a machete. On another note, I burnt the tip of my pinky on the stove element. There’s a blister and it hurts. Can someone kiss it better?
I should really call this my random- ramble-on-blog. This is essentially just random thoughts of mine. I could talk about motor proteins in the microtubules that make up cilia and flagella. Or I could talk about the three different categories of lichen growth forms, which are crustose, foliose, and fruticose (not to be confused with fructose).

Woo, I'm lichen this picture... British Soldiers (Fruticose Lichen)

I’ve made a list of movie that I have yet to see and would like to eventually:
-Hannibal Rising
-300
-Walk the Line
-Saw II & III
-The Illusionist
-Jackass 2
-Stranger Than Fiction
-The Departed
-Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (new one)
-Blood Diamond
-The Devil Wears Prada
-Hitcher
-Casino Royale
-The Messengers
-Snakes on a Plane
-The Number 23
-Amityville Horror (new one)
-Benchwarmers
-Man of The Year
-The Prestige
-Babel
-The Holiday
-Grandma’s Boy
-Zodiac
-Pan’s Labyrinth
-Freedom Writers
There are a lot unlisted that aren’t playing yet at theaters, others i've straight up forgot, and i really can't list them all.

I guess I’m going to have a to have a week long movie marathon sometime.

when will they learn this loneliness?

oh boy, there are two men in my kitchen and i don't know who they are... actually one's a plumber and the others the counter-top repairman guy. Yup, new countertops and new sink!. Everything i've always wanted! I really wanted a new tub, however. Oh, well. So... now that we're alone, well not really, but we can whisper. cheese is good. things to do: complete biostats assign., study for biostats test, rewrite cel bio notes, work on biochem lab, and figure out what the hell is going on in biochem lecture. I have to use this time to get ahead, and i still seem to waste it away. I realized that Chris prob didn't recieve my msg i sent him during the fire alarm at the u of w. ..it was really good too, not really. I bought a movie to day :). Oh, you guessed before i even told you, yup, The Lost Boys. ...cry little sister; thou shall not fall. love is with your brother; thou shall not kill. *sigh*
*BLING!*...there's government inside the government. *BLING! BLING!* This just in... there's government outside the government. ....*BLING!*
I just don't know what to do with myself. I wish i didn't live with my sister, well sometimes i don' tmind, but mostly i do. She's older so therefore she must know everything right? What she doesn't know is that i'm going to kick her in the face. I kid, tho i would have to be pretty darn mad to do somehting like that and i do have a temper. So far all's alright.
I'm upset that i couldn't walk around shirtless when i got home, due to these strangers in my kitchen. git out. And, they're gone and done ...eh, it's too cold now. I just checked out the new kitchen renovation, counter tops look nice, more white, good job, and the sink looks bigger and feels cheaper. woo.

you'd comment if you knew what was good for ya.
